The School of Theater, Film and Media Arts is part of the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts at Temple University, which also includes the Boyer College of Music and Dance. Our students collaborate and train with an eclectic, diverse group of gifted peers across many disciplines. Through a combination of artistic training and rigorous scholarship, nationally and internationally recognized faculty and working professionals prepare our students to make a powerful impact in their communities.
Message to the Class of 2020
To the Class of 2020:
Congratulations! You have worked so hard and persevered through so much to get to this day. I’m pleased to be able to celebrate with you in this way today and look forward to celebrating with you in person at a later date.
You are now entering the ranks of a very prestigious group, the alumni of the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts.

Lindsay Allen ’20
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Directing, Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management
Lindsay Allen is graduating from the Film and Media Arts Department as an Honors student with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Directing and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. During her time at Temple, Lindsay acted as a Resident Assistant for three years, served as leader of Mise En Femme—the women’s film club on campus, was a Vira I. Heinz scholarship recipient, studied abroad in Prague and held multiple jobs as a student worker.
