Congratulations, Class of 2020!

The Boyer College of Music and Dance, founded in 1962, is part of Temple University’s Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts, which also includes the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts. We offer our students numerous opportunities to perform with large and small ensembles at the Temple Performing Arts Center as well as world-renowned venues including the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center. From Broadway to the Grammys, our graduates can look forward to joining Boyer alumni who have gone on to great success as creators, educators, performers and entrepreneurs in the world of music and dance.

Congratulations! You have worked so hard and persevered through so much to get to this day. I’m pleased to be able to celebrate with you in this way today and look forward to celebrating with you in person at a later date.

You are now entering the ranks of a very prestigious group, the alumni of the Boyer College of Music and Dance.
